Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 September 2026

These terms govern your use of https://eccuba.org and your registration for events organised by ECCU Bankers Association Ltd. ("the Association", "we", "us"). By submitting a registration or making a payment through this website you accept them.

1. Who you are contracting with

ECCU Bankers Association Ltd.
C/o Mr. Rolf K. Phillips, President
Bank of Saint Lucia, 1 Bridge Street
Castries
Saint Lucia
Email: info@ecbankers.org
Telephone: +1 (268) 720-4323

Saint Lucia is the merchant outlet country for every transaction processed through this website.

2. What we sell

We sell paid registrations to conferences, training sessions and other events run by the Association, together with the associated delegate materials and admission rights described on each event page. A registration entitles the named attendees to attend the event, to the sessions and materials listed for the tier purchased, and to any inclusions stated on the event page. Travel, transfers and hotel accommodation are not included and are arranged and paid for separately by the delegate.

3. Prices and currency

All fees quoted on this website, at checkout and in confirmation emails are in XCD (EC $). Your card will be billed in XCD. If your card is denominated in another currency, your issuer will convert the amount at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee that we neither set nor receive.

The fee applying to a registration is the tier fee shown at the time the registration is submitted. That fee is recorded against the registration, so a later change to a published fee does not alter what an existing registration was quoted.

4. Registration and eligibility

  • You must hold an account on this site and be at least 18 years old.
  • Registrations at a member rate require a valid member bank access code and are open only to staff of institutions in membership of the Association. We may verify eligibility and reprice or cancel a registration submitted at a rate the delegate does not qualify for.
  • The information you give us, including attendee names, must be accurate. Admission may be refused where a delegate's identification does not match the registration.
  • A registration is confirmed only when we have accepted it and payment has settled. Until then it is a request, not a contract.

5. Payment

We accept Visa and Mastercard and Amex payment cards. Card details are entered on the payment provider's secure page and are never held by the Association. See our Payment Security Policy for detail.

Where an invoice or bank transfer is agreed instead, the registration remains unconfirmed until funds are received. Places are not held indefinitely and may be released if payment is not received by the registration deadline for the event.

6. Cancellations, refunds and substitutions

Cancellation windows, refund amounts and delegate substitution are set out in the Refund, Exchange and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Delivery of what you buy

Registration confirmations and delegate materials are delivered electronically. Timings are set out in the Delivery Policy.

8. Changes to an event

Programmes, speakers and venues can change. We will publish material changes on the event page and notify the primary contact by email. If we cancel an event outright, registrations are refunded in full. If we postpone an event, your registration transfers to the new date, and you may request a full refund instead within 14 days of the notice.

We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs a delegate incurs in connection with an event that is changed, postponed or cancelled.

9. Conduct at events

Delegates are expected to behave professionally. We may remove a delegate whose conduct is unlawful, threatening or seriously disruptive, without refund.

10. Legal restrictions

Registration is offered to institutions and individuals in the banking and finance sector and is not offered to the general public. We may decline or cancel a registration where accepting it would breach any law or regulation applying to us, including anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing and sanctions obligations, or the rules of the card schemes.

Nothing on this website is financial, legal or regulatory advice, and no statement made at an event should be relied on as the position of any member institution or of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.

These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia, and the courts of Saint Lucia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. Export and sanctions restrictions

We do not ship physical goods and there are no export-controlled items in what we sell. We do not accept registrations or payments from individuals or entities that are subject to sanctions administered by the United Nations, the United States (OFAC), the United Kingdom or the European Union, or from any person acting on their behalf. Any conference material we make available may not be re-exported or redistributed in breach of those regimes.

Where a payment is declined or reversed for sanctions screening reasons, we will cancel the registration and, where lawful to do so, refund the amount paid.

12. Personal data

How we handle delegate information is described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual property

Content on this website and materials issued at events remain the property of the Association or its licensors. Delegates may use them for their own professional purposes but may not republish or resell them without written permission. Photography and recording take place at our events; tell us in advance if a delegate should not be included.

14. Liability

Our total liability arising from a registration is limited to the fee paid for that registration. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

15. Questions and complaints

Contact us at info@ecbankers.org or +1 (268) 720-4323. We aim to acknowledge queries within two business days. Please contact us before raising a dispute with your card issuer, as most billing questions can be resolved directly and faster.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for a registration is the one published when the registration was submitted.
