About Us

Who We Are
The ECCU Bankers Association (ECCU BA) is a membership organization that represents the banking and finance industry in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU). The ECCU BA has a core role in the growth and stability of the financial sector, through advocacy and representation of member banks in collaboration with the regulatory oversight of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
The ECCU BA also plays a significant role in capacity building and information sharing among member banks, with key focus on Risk and Compliance and Technology. The banking sector is fundamental to people's lives, and the association is proud to promote the work it is doing to support customers and businesses across the ECCU.

Regional Activities & Services
The Association organises regional conferences, technical workshops and training programmes designed to strengthen banking practice across the ECCU. We provide a platform for member banks to exchange insights on regulation, risk management and payments infrastructure, and we work with the ECCB and national supervisors to support policy development. Our services include research, capacity building, operational guidance and coordination on initiatives that promote financial stability and inclusion throughout the region.
